Naturally Healthy Cuisine by Shonda Parker and Vickilynn Haycraft

A little over a year ago, we put my youngest son on a restricted diet to help him with some problems he was having.  The main things he cannot have are artificial colors, artificial flavorings, artificial sweetners and corn syrup (although he can have regular sugar) and just about any other artificial chemical.  Have you ever looked at the ingredients on the labels of your food?  These things are in just about EVERYTHING!

After some futile trips to the grocery store, trying to buy like I always had, it quickly became apparent that I was going to have to make most things from scratch.  Even then, most cookbooks tell you to use canned soups and box jellos and other processed ingredients, and my son could not have those things.  So I went to some trusted healthy living sites, and this book was one thing I found.

This is a WONDERFUL cookbook.  It covers all aspects of feeding your family, including:

Kitchen medicine
Optimal Nutrient Daily intake of vitamins and minerals
Setting up your pantry
Changes made easy
Real Food subsitiutions

It covers weight loss and being hospitable.  And of course, there are many, many recipes.  Crockpot meals, convenience foods, heritage recipes, breads, salads, desserts, pizza, batch cooking.

I've used this book over and over.  There's nothing in here my son can't have.  I can feel confident that I am feeding my family the very best when I use the recipes in this cookbook.

This cookbook is a "must have" if you are interested in feeding real food instead of chemical food to your family!

Since I can't find this book to put on my Amazon book store, I will give you the link to their blog, here
Just be sure and check my book store tab for any other books by these ladies and buy them from me if I have uploaded them!!  :o)
